Description

At the top of the Montagne Sainte-Genevieve, in the middle of the Latin Quarter, amidst schools and universities, the Pantheon dominates Paris.

During almost all of the 19th century, well before the

Arrival of the Eiffel Tower, the Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre or the Tour Montparnasse, the Pantheon was the main monument seen by a visitors on arrival in Paris, and the one from where they could admire the city with one complete unique view.

This fascinating guided tour covers the ground level and the Crypt of the building. Once this tour is complete you are free to stay and discover more of the site including the viewing platform, should you wish (£ payable onsite) at your leisure.
